I am one of the most grateful recipients/ clients of Malcolm Gauld. A few months short of 3yrs I started my application for a British Passport through my grandparents on my father's side. It turned into a very lengthy challenging task for Malcolm, as my grandfather's birth certificate he was unable to find - all the the clues were there, but anyone born in the latter 1800s with minimal proof of paperwork, plus a discrepancy with the spelling of his surname just took Malcolm into further unknown territories. The immigration team I was using was tough on us, regarding the proof and reason behind Malcolm not being able to locate the birth certificate, but it was his motivation letter and proof of all the hours he spent locating anything on my grandfather, which led them to believe this was legitimate, and allowed me then to apply through my grandmother. If it wasn't for Malcolm's tenacity and patience, I would never have had the outcome I wished for. I highly recommend him for anyone querying Genealogy and Probate Research. Malcolm has exceeded my expectations, I am overwhelmed by the amount of detail he has provided. Thoroughly professional, you need patience, the process cannot be rushed obtaining certificates and researching. If you are contemplating having your family traced then I would certainly recommend Bon-Accord and his fees are very reasonable.

He quoted a price but never asked for anything upfront a trust was secured straight away, he answered any query I had during the process, this job is not done overnight, it is months in the making so if do decide to do it have patience. I received my parcel from Malcolm in time as we discussed for Santa to deliver, what I received was beyond anything I could have imagined, the details this man has done confounded me as to how he puts it all together, I can only give Malcolm the highest praise where possible, no words will describe how my wife will feel when she gets her present. Malcolm was very accommodating and so communicative. He worked around my time schedule with emails and phone calls, and always ensured he understood what I was after. He managed to develop my ideas for a family tree and the results are outstanding, even with the lack of Irish records due to no fault of his own but the Dublin records office being destroyed. He was so friendly and worked within my budget to create a once-in-a-lifetime present for my parents, and the quality of the poster and folder was excellent.
